We aim for every applicant to have a beneficial interview that, if nothing else, gives them experience in interviewing. However, by the time you get to interview with Sarah, her aim is for you to understand what our objectives are. We want to make sure any misconceptions or misstatements are corrected:
To date, no one on the team collects a salary from New York Minute. This has been a passion project that enables college students to add to their portfolios.
Any money that is made by NYMM is put back into the magazine, which has allowed it to continue for nearly seven years.
Sarah has built this company from the ground up and that is her experience!
While we promote equality, we do not believe reality stars who only use their success for their own profit align with our mission and values.
Lastly, some advice: if you want to be taken seriously as an applicant, don’t take an interview from your car. It comes across as lacking in interest. A change in setting could help your chances for getting offers in the future. Good luck!
