I did a phone interview and then an in person interview with 3 people. The person missed my phone interview, then rescheduled, and then was late for the rescheduled phone call. I think 5% of the questions they asked had anything to do with UX. They didn't seem to have a real understanding of what user experience was, except for some buzz words (or at least they didn't seem to know what ux research, ux design, and ui design are or how they work together). They did ask me several questions about marketing and talked a lot about training people how to use a new app. I got the sense throughout the process that they just wanted to make their interfaces better looking and usability was a secondary concern. Also, their answers to my questions usually didn't make sense or was something along the lines of "....I guess?". Honestly felt like I was interviewing for some other position. In any case, they were nice people.
