      Talent Search Interview

      Mar 16, 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Stockholm, Stockholm
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Netlight (Stockholm, Stockholm)

      Interview

I was first contacted during spring 2010 by a recruiter at Netlight. I was working at Google in Paris, but had thoughts on moving back to Sweden. I didn't know about Netlight since before, but as I had a trip booked to Stockholm I decided to go for an onsite meeting with a recruiter. Then during summer I moved back to Stockholm, and was invited for a mingle in which I met lots of Netlighters which enforced the picture of a company with great people and strong culture & values. After summer I decided to move back permanently. I decided to progress with the interview process with Netlight. The second step was a more indepth interview including a case around recruitment strategy. The third step was an interview with a partner from Netlight. At that point I had 5 offers from different companies, and did some rigorous research to understand which company to go for. I checked LinkedIn profiles (who would be my future colleagues? Who can I learn from? Are there role models that inspires?), and also checked financial results, as well as asking for connections to more people in the team that I would potentially be working in. After all this research it was actually an easy decision for me, Netlight was my choice. Something I've never regreted!

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Netlight (Stockholm, Stockholm) in Nov 2020

      Interview

Best interview process I've ever had. Three step process with a casual interview at first getting to know the company and role, competence interview to dive deeper into how previous experience and competence matches the role and final partner interview to discuss long-term career aspirations and how i'd be able to grow within the company on the long-run.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Not a strict question battery. Felt more like a genuine conversation about my strengths and career aspirations and how those would match the work-environment and role.

      Talent Search Interview

      Nov 30, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Netlight in Oct 2017

      Interview

I had my first interview with one person from Talent Search for app 1,5 hrs. The interview was mostly for me to describe my previous experience and why I am interested in Netlight, but also for the recruiter to describe Netlights organization to me. I had prepared a lot for the interview so not that many news. Second interview was with two senior colleagues in the team for 2 hours, talking mostly about the role and about my experiences within recruitment. I had to present a case that I prepared for 10 minutes, which was about recruitment. Again - I Had prepared a lot and managed to present it in a way that I thought was close to how Netlight work with their recruitment and what's important for them. This was a really fun interview and I was even more convinced this was the perfect company for me. The third was with two Partners and by far the hardest one, mostly because I could feel that it wasn't something I could say that was more wrong or right, a lot about my upbringing and my relationship with my parents, what I think motivates me and so on. Also the hardest one because I knew it was the last chance to show them who I am. A bit of a surprise when the interview started with one of the two women saying; This is your hour, what do you want to talk about?
