      Interview

I found the process drawn out with a lack of updates for a month then finally got a rejection. Weird thing is they moved super fast after the phone interview, then after the in person that is where things really slowed down and had very limited updates. Many of the interview questions that were asked were irrelevant to the job or not well worded. I was most upset how I was treated poorly by one of the important people who interviewed me, from the very beginning. Loudly chewing on their gum the entire time, seemed very annoyed to be there and had zero interest in talking to me. They also complained that they had a meeting at 4 on a Friday and said who schedules a meeting on Friday at 4? I found their behavior unprofessional towards a person who is a potential job candidate.

      Question 1

What’s your learning style? Why NetJets? Who do you report to at your job? How many people work at your current company? Tell me about your experience with X software? Who makes the decisions to move forward with X projects at your job?

      Analyst Interview

      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at NetJets in Mar 2018

      Interview

Never have I wanted to not get a job offer until now. The recruiter called me and had the wrong person's resume and last name in front of him so I should have turned around the moment this happened but unfortunately I did not. Got to the next step of an in person interview where the questions were almost entirely analytical and not behavioral with questions similar to the one featured below. I believe these types of questions are important but when the interviewer ultimately ends up with a condescending tone asking them after interrupting my answers I realized that this was not the company I wanted to work for. I felt as though I was there for the interviewers' entertainment rather than for both of our hopeful benefits. I made sure I kept my cool the whole way through but clearly they wanted someone with Mensa question knowledge rather than someone with interpersonal skills. This has been made clear with the people asking the questions--caught up in their own love of their knowledge. I believe it truly comes down to the interviewers thinking that their company does not get the reputation they believe it deserves so they try to appear and give a very difficult interview to compensate. I have never in my tens of interviews had such a desire to leave a company after an interview and never come back.
