I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Nespresso (Vancouver, BC)
Interview
I met up with the manager at a cafe, in which she introduced herself and her role to me, then made it very clear I would only be guaranteed work if I could promise full availability, 40 hours a week for the next 4 months. She then made me tell her my entire schedule for the next 4 months, which I am unaware of because I dont always have it that far in advance. When I told her I cant work up until Christmas because I need to go from BC to Ontario to visit my family for Christmas, she said she doesnt see that as important because she doesnt celebrate Christmas.
Very straighforward and great feedback, had to go through a phone call screening followed by a video interview. It was great process, requires very good level of preparation. Then comes an extensive training period
