Applied for a Data Scientist junior position. The negative experience comes from the technical interview. It was simple and easy but the interviewer forgot to set the download permission on some files to download from a AWS bucket in order to do some stats and SQL queries. Spent 30 minutes to understand the error I was getting from AWS, I asked for help but the interviewer insisted it was an authentication issue, and I kept telling him it wasn't cause I already checked that. At the end, he realized it was a permission issue and fixed, but it was too late. So I couldn't do the most important part of the interview and received a heavy negative feedback based on nothing! I would even say these were insulting comments based on a person that made a whole negative opinion about me before the beginning of the interview! Thus, if you're lucky enough to get empathy from this interviewer, you will pass it. It's not a not question of talent or not for a junior profile, but more like empathy.
