      Engineer Interview

      Mar 5, 2013
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

      I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Neo4j

      Interview

They typically search their network of people and aim for very competent people. The process is typically made up of several one on one interviews starting with using telephone. Many people are typically involved, from dev to CEO. Company is very distributed across many countries (and time zones). A good grasp of the english language is helpful. Also, online material like code in github, blogs etc provides a good "extension" to your CV.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Typically pair programming - it really gives the interviewer a good closeup of the developer applying for a job. Can be stressful.
