5 rounds of interviews with several senior leaders and recruiters. Great conversations and really great feedback from the recruiter and then I got ghosted for 2 weeks despite efforts to follow up. Really disappointing also to see the ad re-posted while being in the process. Even if it’s automated via LinkedIn - why have that as a recruiting strategy? Very strange experience in all, difficulty getting responses and a messy scheduling experience as well.

5 separate hour long interviews from:
Recruitment
Head of security
Security engineer
CTO
Head of engineering
Zero communication throughout. No indication as to what each interview was going to cover in advance. I just had to guess from the job title and linkedin profile of the interviewer. Requests for more information from the recruiters were ignored.
I was advised at the last interview that all candidates have to go through these 5 interviews. There are no stage gates. You are no closer to the position at the 5th interview than the 1st.
Then ghosted. No communication, no feedback, nothing.
Id think very hard whether you want to dedicate 5 hours of your time to a process that has such little respect for its applicants.

Interview
The recruiter was professional and communication was clear throughout. The case study interview was the weak point. There is a misalignment between what the assignment asks you to build and what the team actually evaluates you on, and on top of that you are not given enough time or space to present the highlights of your work. I came in well prepared and left the call feeling the format did not do justice to the assignment they had given.
