Terrible interview experience. Could tell right from the start how they do not value any of their employees, especially operators on the shop floor (which is apparent from the reviews on this site). Hiring manager spoke about the operators as if they were just a number to them and replaceable. They talked about pay without me bringing it up. They spoke about how they were a smaller company and could not afford to pay what larger companies pay, but the 40k-45k salary max they would be willing to pay is not even remotely close to being competitive for an engineer. Do not even waste an hour of your time to interview, as this is all it takes to realize this company will not value you as an employee, and especially as a human being.
I applied online. I interviewed at Neff-Perkins Company (Middlefield, OH) in Jun 2017
Interview
Found ad on another job site. applied for job on line. Sent my resume in and got a phone call for an interview two days later. Went in for the interview, answered questions presented to me, and got the tour of the plant and the job I would be doing. Got hired the same day after taking drug test.
