      IT Manager Interview

      Dec 9, 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Bengaluru
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Navitech (Bengaluru) in Dec 2025

      Interview

The interview was scheduled by the recruiter from Navi and was only 30 minutes long. I was curious about what could be covered in such a short time. As I suspected, the interview was not relevant to the position. The interviewer, focused mainly on my education—whether it was online or offline, if I had taken exams at the university, and various unrelated questions. It felt more like an interrogation than an interview for an IT Manager role. He seemed more like a police officer questioning a suspect than a professional assessing a candidate. I believe others might have had a similar experience, as his questions were outdated and solely focused on educational background. With 2026 approaching, the mode of education should no longer be a concern. More importantly, since the role is for a managerial position, the interview should have focused on my capability to manage teams and operations. None of these topics were addressed. Even if I had been selected, I have already decided not to join, as this style of micromanagement does not align with the leadership approach required for this role

      Question 1

All questions about my current company’s hierarchy are irrelevant. I suggest Mr. Pushpakar leave his current role and join this company to implement necessary changes
