I applied online. I interviewed at National Association Of Counties (Washington, DC) in Apr 2023
Interview
Interviewed by two people for first round. Fairly relaxed and straightforward interview. Asked typical interview questions about my experience and questions pertaining to the role. I didn't get asked for a second interview, which is fine and expected with how many people applied (70+), but it's always a red flag to me when companies don't even bother to send a rejection email. I've taken time away from my current job to meet with you and I can't even get the generic, fill-in-the-blank "we're moving forward with other candidates" email? Wasn't the opportunity for me but an overall average experience.

Question 1
First one was the typical "tell me about yourself". A lot of questions about the duties in the role and my experience with those things.
Straightforward, responsive and quick hiring process. Standard interview questions of background and experience. Only went through 1 round of interviews and heard from the hiring manager within a week. Generally a positive interview process compared to other companies
