I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Naterra International (Coppell, TX) in Aug 2025
Interview
Interview was fine but felt rather cold and corporate for such a small company. I went in thinking it was more of a fun, casual culture but it felt dull, rigid and a bit soulless. Bombarded by 4 interviewers in a row which was exhausting to have to answer the same questions 4 times over. It felt more like an interrogation. Each interviewer kept stressing how chaotic, disorganized and “fast-paced” it was there. Salary offer was low and they offered little PTO. Also, no flex days. No remote. Long hours 8-5. Received super critical comments from their recruiter which was weird. Never left the conference room to see the office. They never once asked about my background and vast volume of work and experience. They seemed far more interested in my personality. Very shallow. The interview was uninspiring to say the least.

Question 1
Can you work well in a fast-paced, high pressure environment with little feedback?

Interview
The interview process began with a conversation with HR, which initially covered standard questions such as “What do you do?”, “Walk me through your resume,” and “Why do you think you can work in packaging?” While the pace of the interview was acceptable, I found the interaction somewhat frustrating. The HR representative seemed curt and interrupted me whenever I provided more detailed explanations. While I understand that everyone can have an off day, her approach felt dismissive and unprofessional.
The process took a more negative turn when we discussed salary expectations. There appeared to be a misunderstanding initially, but after clarifying, the conversation shifted in tone. Rather than discussing it professionally, she responded in a way that felt condescending—emphasizing how superior the company was and how difficult the job would be. This response felt more like a reprimand than a clarification.
Despite being asked to complete an assessment, I was declined immediately afterward, making the entire process feel disorganized. While I’ve encountered difficult HR professionals before, this was by far one of the least professional experiences I’ve had.

Submitted application via Linkedin. Received an email invite to schedule an initial interview with HR. The initial appointment was delayed 24 HRs due to a last-minute scheduling conflict on the employer side. The initial phone screen lasted 35-40 minutes.
