An HR manager contacted me three months after I submitted my online application. We spoke on the phone for an initial screening, and then he invited me to complete a writing challenge---that took several more weeks. I submitted an email response within the 1.5 hour time limit they gave me to complete the challenge. I have not heard back from them since.
