I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at NIO (New York, NY)
Interview
HR and interviewers are really nice and friendly, but the phone interview is not even real. The questions are far too general, there is no coding, problem solving at all. Only a set of questions like what tools/languages/libraries do you use, and the most common question I was asked is 'do you like it?'
I hope their engineering team is not building an EV just by liking it, otherwise it might be a great short opportunity if this company ever goes public.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NIO
Interview
First the tech interviewer ask about the working experience, I just answer with the working experience in my resume, then they ask three algrithm questions in leetcode. I didn't prepare at that time, I think I just mess it up, so I failed.
There are many questions and require careful preparation. The interviewers are professional and will not put pressure on you, but will guide you. The questions asked are very basic knowledge that is rarely used in actual development.
