My first time around, I applied for the part time under athlete position and was called in for a group interview- It was my first interview and a great experience, however I did not receive the job offer. I reapplied within the next two weeks or so after being declined, but for the Seasonal Athlete position because I just really wanted to work there lol! Luckily, I got the call back for an interview once again- great experience (yet again) and I happened to recieve the offer for this job.
The hiring process was pretty quick, considering the number of applications they receive. Each time I applied, I received a call back within a week or less. They simply ask of your availability and let you know what time your group interview will be (usually the next day or next two days). The group interview is usually with 8 or more people which consists of two hiring managers/operation managers, and however many candidates. They start you off with a few Ice Breakers which is really great! Gets all the nervousness and what not out of you. The 5-6 questions they ask are simple, previous experiences type of questions that show the employers your strengths and weaknesses. After answering their questions they inform you of training, further hiring procedures and etc. If you get the job, you will receive a hireright email requesting a background check which means you basically got the job! If not you'll get a "we appreciate your interest in this job, we will not be continuing etc". After completing the background check, it takes about 2 weeks or less for them to call you back to offer the job and to inform you of training. It took them 1 week to call me back which was nice since I was expecting longer after reading other reviews. It just really depends on how fast hireright completes the background check.
My advice is to be yourself, be confident and professional, and exercise your communication skills during the interview. Honestly, you are in competition with the other candidates in the room so be sure to bring your A-game. The questions they ask you are LITERALLY all here on this app, so review them if you can. Also, when they ask you "Why Nike?" This is your chance to show them how passionate you are about this brand and how much you want to work there so be sure to express that as best as you can.
Excited about starting my training in two days!! I just always loved Nike and told myself ever since, that this was going to be my first job and it's actually true. Good luck to you guys!
