The process was pretty straight forward. A panel of administrators asking questions about your feelings about teaching and children in general. It was very informal and friendly. One teacher on panel as well.

Interview
Very easy to complete, online process. Included past education level, where and when. Typical background check, and up to date immunizations. Had to have an up to date tetnus and tb shot before completing the application. Then once submitted, a wait period for the board to review and approve the application, usually 30 days.

E-mailed resume to principal, asked in for interview the following day, Interviewed with department chair and current teacher
Asked questions about background and experience and then given hypothetical situations and asked about what I would do.
