Structured Finance Group Associate Analyst III Interview

      Mar 17, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Moody's (New York, NY) in Mar 2015

      Interview

I interviewed through on-campus recruiting, so there was a behavioral two-on-one interview on campus (30 min), and final rounds were held in-office, with 2 back-to-back thirty minute interviews. The first round was very behavioral - just a get-to-know you type of interview with a couple of questions about what the company does and what the role of the specific position is. Final rounds were a little more difficult - I was constantly drilled on how I am a good fit for this specific position and how my skills were quantitative.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Moody's (New York, NY) in Feb 2022

      Interview

Initially applied for AA2, and HR contacted me by phone but missed it. Called back but no responses. About a month later received an email telling me that I was chosen for the Superday interview. Scheduled to have 3 back-to-back interviews with 6 people of the SFG, everyone is kind and nice. Interviews were not too difficult but certainly were not easy. Some behavioral questions, questions based on your resume, and some technical questions (could be out of your knowledge base but maybe it's the stress test and they want to see your logical reasonings) They release the result pretty fast tho. Read methodologies, read presale reports or other publications. Make sure that you stay up to the news. Know and understand what you learned at school
