I had already been working in our Coffee R&D center as a student for a year. When this offer was released on our Intranet, and then Internet, I felt this was my chance to kick my career off with a great opportunity to learn laboratory methods and get to meet people in the same field. Being part of the company, I directly made it to the 1:1 interview which was held by two colleagues from different research centers. They showed much interest in the work I had done as a student for Kraft Foods, as well as other internships. Their interest made me feel comfortable and that was more of a personality assessment than a field-based hands-on recruitment. I was contacted two weeks later for that position and was glad to accept, following the very interesting talks and comments we had on that day.
