I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Modell's Sporting Goods (Clifton Heights, PA) in Apr 2013
Interview
I was recommended by a friend and so immediately got an interview. It was quick and I was later told that I got the job before I even entered the door. The hiring manager was a really good judge of character, based on his other choices (not basing it on myself). He could immediately tell when someone would be a good fit for the store.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
"You know 'blank', 'blank', and 'blank'? You've got the job!" in essence

Interview
Bad environment. It was okay but definitely not the best experience I’ve had in retail. Hours are way too long and management was okay but could’ve been better. Great experience but would never go back again
