I applied online. I interviewed at Mobile One Courier Cargo & Logistics (Virginia Beach, VA) in Sep 2015
Interview
The interview process was pretty typical and everything was going really well until the abruptly changed the duties for the position that I applied for. The role originally called for a 60/40% breakdown. 60% of the time I would be focusing on account management while the other 40% of the time I would be focusing on new development. Half way through the interview one of the hiring managers happened to slide in the fact that the role was not a 60/40% breakdown, but that it was a 99/1% breakdown, meaning that 99% of the time I would be focusing on new development. Needless to say that I was floored with this new development. It felt like a classic bait and switch, and I left there feeling like the whole interview was a waste of my time, never mind the fact that I drove two hours to get there. I mean, how does a role change that drastically in such a short amount of time? Who knows, but they will for sure never see me again.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Mobile One Courier Cargo & Logistics (Norfolk, VA) in Jun 2015
Interview
A phone interview with one of the managers, then an in person with a different manager, and then a third interview with the original manager. No problem. They lose drivers faster than they can replace them, so you don't have to try very hard.
