The person that interviewed me came down 20 minutes late, blaming HR for some mix up. It was just a Project Manager running the interview, but it could have really done with someone from HR as English was not his first language and there was some difficulties in communication. I started with a brief overview of my experience and then I was asked a bit about specific projects I had worked on. I felt there may have been a problem when I was sure I was being asked some very similar questions, so i felt that maybe I had not answered in the way they would have liked, so whenever I responded, I made sure to ask if I answered the question the PM was asking me. I was then asked about planning projects, to which I talked about planning and initiation. The PM then told me that when someone asks me this I should talk about the whole project lifecycle, to which I explained that I may have misunderstood the question, as I thought he wanted to know about my approach to kicking off a project. He then ended the interview saying sorry, this isn't what he wanted. I've never had to come to an abrupt end to an interview like this. I guess I knew where I stood at least. Terrible experience, the interviewer wasn't very friendly, I understand that he may have had issues with HR beforehand, but that's not my fault. They really needed someone else to sit in on the interview with him.
