I applied online. I interviewed at Mint Cannabis (Tempe, AZ) in Feb 2026
Interview
Interviewed online right after the job posted, greeted by HR and invited to meet within . Received email saying they were no longer hiring for the position. Very unprofessional in my opinion!

Question 1
I didn't even get a chance for an interview after what appeared to be serious prospective interest.
I applied online. I interviewed at Mint Cannabis (Mesa, AZ) in Jan 2026
Interview
Normally I don't do these.
I first applied online, then interviewed over Video with one of their recruiters/HR. It went well, two days later he reached out and said the man in charge of Data Entry wanted to interview me on a certain day.
I show up, business casual, polished shoes, ready to go. They take a few minutes, then someone from the team grabs me, tells me they weren't expecting me. The data entry lead wasn't present in the building, not there that day, on a scheduled interview,
So we proceed with the msot awkward interview of my life with two of his team mebers who stated they gort my resume 4 minutes ago (when I walked in). No prepared questions, nothing. I reach out to HR/Recruiter after asking what happened and offering to niterview in the future (maybe some scheduling pops up). They respond saying they'll ask and informally apologized. 2 hours later I get a form email saying I'm no longer considered for the role.
Absolutely unprofessional. Shameful, wasting my time, my energy, and my gas to be ghosted on an interview in-person.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Mint Cannabis (Forest Park, IL) in Oct 2025
Interview
I went through the interview process with Mint Cannabis and found it highly unprofessional and uncomfortable.
All interviews were scheduled late in the evening: Monday after 6 PM, Tuesday after 7 PM, and a final unplanned group interview after 8 PM on Wednesday.
The group interview was unstructured. Questions were generic, multi-part prompts that didn’t fit the discussion.
A senior executive spent around 15 minutes criticizing me for not showing “enough personality,” even though every question was technical and policy-related.
The recruiter then called my personal phone at 10:30 PM to discuss the interview results and suggest another round.
This process showed a clear lack of respect for boundaries. The repeated references to being “like a family” came across as a way to justify poor work-life balance. The approach felt manipulative and unprofessional.
After six years in the cannabis industry, I recognized too many red flags and withdrew my interest. I do not recommend interviewing here.
