I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Minerva Engineering (Hanover, MD) in Sep 2016
Interview
At first introductions, I was greeted and introduced to some of the employees that I passed on my way to the conference room where we interviewed. It was a very family-like feel to the company. Immediately, I was offered a drink or snack - which was a nice transition into the interview.
The process was straight forward and also relaxing. I interviewed with the Senior Program Manager as well as Business Development Lead for this particular customer. Although there were two interviewers present, they conducted a *very comfortable conversation*, rather than an interrogation. They provided me with a detailed awareness of on the Statement of Work and scope of the project that would be required of me. They were very engaging and professional in how they both posed questions for me to answer as well as how they received the responses that I provided.
Overall, we covered a fair amount of information and I felt very positive that both parties lined up very well.
The interview also provided the impressive history and continuing business growth of the company - to include the fun, small business work environment that I could expect. Everyone pursues a challenging and rewarding career, but it's important to work within a fun, creative, and welcoming workplace while you do so.
