The interview process started with the employer reaching back out to me via Indeed to schedule an interview. Upon arriving at the interview, I was surprised to find out what they would be requesting me to do at the interview. They were looking for an English tutor, but at the interview, I found out it was for standardized testing. Furthermore, I provided the interviewer with a sample of how to write a paper, and she took it but handed back my resume and didn't care about even looking at my published paper. Upon the completion of my interview, the interviewer stated they would reach back out to me and send me a test and information to review for the next interview. I was never contacted again. The employer took my sample because it was exactly what the interviewer needed and was extremely unprofessional.
