The process was smooth initially, applied online, next week had a phone interview with the recruiter. Two weeks later received a call from someone I assume in their corporate office to schedule an in-person interview which was confirmed via email. After interviewing, I was told that it would be about 2-3 weeks before a decision was made and I would hear from the recruiter. Sent follow up emails to recruiter after the indicated time with no response. Just as professional courtesy it would have been nice to know yea or nay since I took the time out to take part in several interviews. For a company as large as MilliporeSigma, their recruiting department lacks professionalism. I only knew I did not get the job when two months later I checked the job portal which states the application process is closed. After speaking to a colleague of mine, she was treated in the same manner, no responses via email and only found out she was not considered when she called the hiring manager months later. Overall the team of scientists that I met were very pleasant. This review is of their recruiting process. You should have more respect for potential candidates who invested their time and energy to at least inform them that they were not selected.
