I applied online. I interviewed at Mighty Engine (Philadelphia, PA) in Aug 2017
Interview
I received a call describing the position and if I was interested, then scheduled an interview date. When I visited the office, the interviewer spoke at length about the company. They work with many non-profits and schools. The position would be for someone who can take on multiple clients and would become more like a creative director later on. The interviewer seemed to want someone with more experience. I did not get a chance to talk about my skills as a designer. The next interview would be with different interviewers about more creative topics.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Mighty Engine (Philadelphia, PA) in May 2012
Interview
The interview was fairly straightforward, with one major exception. For a 35-40 minute discussion, I spoke for maybe 15 minutes of it. The interviewer spent the majority of it describing the difficult personalities of the office I would have to cope with. Details almost bordering office gossip were laid out for me to nod and "mm-hmm" to.
