The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Michaels in Sep 2011
Interview
So i applied online and about a week later i got a call to come in on a friday. on friday i went in about 10 minutes early and she called me in and asked me some questions about my work experience, just say what you wrote on the application. then she basically told me that the pay was 7.75 an hour and that she would start me on the floor first then after a few months i would get moved to cashier. also that it was a seasonal job so it would end after Christmas. i didnt really get interviewed and it laster like 5 minutes. oh and before i left she said i was going to get a background check and she would call me back. she called me the following wednesday and told me i got the job and said i had to go online and do something with taxes or something but i dont really know what she said so if anyone can help me with that that would be fantastic.
describe a challenging moment in your career and how you reacted to it. I said one time i had a conflict with someone and then we were able to resolve it.
I applied online. I interviewed at Michaels (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2025
Interview
Done over the phone, just a simple phone screening talking with the Store Manager. It was fairly short, only around 15-20 minutes. The manager asked about experience on my resume, as well as my availability.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Michaels (Sequim, WA) in Oct 2025
Interview
Easy. I walked in the store to ask if they had any job openings, and the manager interviewed me on the spot, and offered me a job. I submitted an application afterwards.
