I applied for a position with MTA in October and finally got contacted for a first interview in January—only after following up twice. After progressing through multiple interview rounds, including a final interview and a written assessment, I was told I would hear back by the start of the following week.
When that deadline passed, I had to follow up again, and HR kept pushing the decision back.Weeks later, I noticed they reposted the job multiple times, which made me question whether they were actually considering me or just keeping me as a backup. After months of waiting and multiple delays, I was finally rejected the day before my birthday.
The lack of communication and constant delays made this one of the most frustrating hiring processes I’ve experienced. If you’re applying here, be prepared for a long and uncertain wait with minimal transparency.
Would I apply again? Probably not.
