Pretty smooth interview process and scheduling. Applied online, first call is the recruiter with general questions about background, second call is with the director of engineer who mostly asks about what motivates you and your experiences (this guy is great, would’ve loved to work directly with him), third call is with a junior member of the team and the engineering program manager who will ask technical questions. Fourth will be a design challenge (I didn’t get to this one)

To make the motion of the slide incrementally continuously variable, what device and components would need to be used?
How do you turn rotary motion into linear motion?
What are the design factors that go into which type of drive mechanism to choose?
When a cart is moving on the linear slide, it tends to rotate about the axis, how do you resolve this issue? How do you test whether this resolution works?
