      Sales Operations Interview

      Apr 28, 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at MetTel (New York, NY)

      Interview

Terrible interview process. I went to their NYC office and had to fill out a paper employment application, like who does that anymore?! Then a behavioral survey. I wasn't completely turned off by this but still decided to give it a shot. I interviewed with the HR manager and then met with one of the managers who I was told I wasn't reporting to but he's one of the managers on the team. Very unclear. A few days later, I was set up with a phone interview with whom I was told was the hiring manager. After that interview, which was mostly about whether I will be able to commute to NYC or not for training, I got an email from the coordinator asking me to phone interview with another person whose team I would potentially be on. I also had to take a skills test in person which I never got to because I went to their other office and could not locate the suite. Anyways, I decided to withdraw from the interview process at that point because it seemed like they were all over the place. They did not structure the interview process well so I had no idea who I was interviewing with because there was ambiguity on who was the hiring manager.
