I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Mercedes-Benz International (Stoke-on-Trent, England) in Jun 2018
Interview
Overall process took over 3 months, which is disgusting. The particular vacancy was for Mercedes-Benz Macclesfield.
I arrived 20 minutes early to show enthusiasm and willingness (15:40) the interview was booked for 16:00. I was left waiting for the interviewer for 18 minutes (16:18) which is unacceptable and shows untidiness and disorganisation.
When the interviewer finally showed his face the interview itself was VERY unorganised and there was not any kind of interview structure in place, very unprofessional.
Tell me about yourself was the first thing the interviewer said to me. He was not friendly at all and seemed like he didn’t even want to be there, i asked about my qualification certificates (GCSE) because i was pressured heavily to take them to the interview by the Daimler recruiters because it was a requirement of the interview stage and the interviewers reply was “were not looking for people with qualifications were looking for people that can do the job” so pretty much anyone with the right training.. Hmm.. I’d avoid this Mercedes branch.

Interview
The interview was good. It was relaxed and well planned. It was taken with one interviewer. After I finished the interview I was taken around the workshop for a tour. They mostly give apprenticeships to people who have had experience working on cars.
