I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Mercedes-Benz International (King's Lynn, England) in Aug 2016
Interview
I got there a bit early so the receptionist showed me to a waiting lounge. A little while later the manager came to greet me and we went up to his office to begin the interview. It was honestly the best job interview I've ever had. I'm not sure if I'll get the job, but it was very casual yet professional, and the questions were all about my hobbies/past experience rather than the job itself. The staff I saw were friendly and it looks like a nice place to work.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
He asked about my hobbies and past experience. No preparation needed, probably because it's a receptionist role.

Interview
I applied online for this position and the same day got a phone call for a phone interview. After my phone interview I was invited for a face to face interview. During face to face interview they showed me around the office and then asked some questions in English and French. Also asked to fill out information in order to do a background check. It was on Friday and then I haven't heard anything from them. I called a week after to ask about status of my application and they told me that they will call all applicants that day to update them about their status. They also asked if I could be reached at this number and I confirmed. I spent the whole day by the phone and haven't heard a thing!
So I called on Monday asking if me not getting a phone call means that I did not get the job. The HR recognised my voice and told me that the reason I haven't heard from them was because they are still considering me as a potential applicant. I asked them how long would it take them to make a decision and to my surprise she said that today they will make a decision and will call. What do you know? They never called! This is a highly unprofessional behavior and I would never expect it from people working for such a famous brand.
