I met with the owner initially and later with she and her business partner. It was many months (17 actually) before I was hired but I kept dripping on them since they were dealing with other internal matters unbeknownst to me at the time. I was able to attend a training to see her style and then later she asked me to follow up every few months. I did that until June 2013 and was hired on July 1 and began July 8.
