For this interview it was called a Mecca-Match session. We started off the day at 9am for a 9:30am start. It began by us getting name tags and then being led in to a big room with tables and chairs as we waited for the others. There was a group of us around 35 girls/guys. We got introduced to the Mecca brand and then we had split into two groups and did a group activity in small groups of 4-5. After this activity we did a small role-playing activity with a Mecca leader on groups of 2-3. We had different scenarios of what it’s like to work at Mecca. For example: We each took turns playing the Store Host & Customer. We then went out of the room and they set up the room for one-on-one interviews. There were around 10 interviews at a time in the room so it got a little noisy and distracting so don’t let that put you off. We had a long lunch break (an hour and a half). Then we came back into the room for an Artistry Assessment. We had to do a Mecca Pro makeover on each other. We each got an hour each to complet this on each other. It included: Bold lips, contoured, highlighted, full coverage foundation, brown Smokey eye. We finished up the day at 3:30pm.
