I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at McMaster-Carr (Atlanta, GA) in May 2011
Interview
Began the interview process with a recruiter. Phone call consisted of going over the resume and asking me how i would decide if a business was large enough in order to recieve the infamous "Yellow Catalog".
After the phone interview, i recieved a call to interview at the Atlanta office. McMaster Carr flew me into Atlanta and set me up in the W.
On the day of the interview, a towncar picked me up and took me to the facility. McMaster Carr is esentially a distribution center. They do not manufacture anything. The grounds were well kept and the office and wharehouse was very clean and organized.
The interview was broken down into a morning and afternoon session. The morning consisted of filling out an application and then taking a tour of the facility. After the tour, i had 1:1 interviews with 2 Managers and a representative from HR. I was then taken to lunch (applebees or lonestar) with 2 managers. After lunch i had an interview with the distribution center manager and then an exit interview with HR.

I applied online. I interviewed at McMaster-Carr (Chicago, IL)
Interview
The interview process was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. I really appreciated that the discussions were fully behavioral, allowing me to naturally draw on my past experiences. Furthermore, the company truly goes out of its way to treat you like a VIP throughout the entire visit, covering a remarkably nice hotel stay and providing a generous stipend to ensure you are completely comfortable.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at McMaster-Carr (Chicago, IL)
Interview
One behavioral interview with a recruiter and then a day-long onsite interview at the Elmhurst IL location. Superday has two behavioral interviews, walkarounds and more but feels like you're being observed everyday.
