It was very casual. I came in wearing my suit and tie and ready to be grilled. It was more of a conversation than an interview. They just wanted to talk to me and get to know me better. They asked about my past projects and education (typical), but they also asked about my other interests outside of engineering. I started with a phone interview and a few days later I had several back-to-back interviews with management. I'm not sure that this is typical. I had another offer from a competing firm, so they were trying to move fast. What stood out to me was how passionate the management team was towards their jobs. You could tell that they are exactly where they want to be and are doing exactly what they want to do. That was the main reason I chose their offer over my other offer.
