I initially interviewed for the Legal Practice Assistant (LPA) position. It went really well and I progressed from interviewing with the recruiter, to a manager to HR. I had also put in an application at the early stages for the coordinator role as I realized it was a better fit. Luckily, when I interviewed with the HR, she agreed and I was quickly moved forward to interview with a director. I thought the interview went well and she seemed impressed and said she would try her best to move me forward as it sounded like they were already in the late stages of hiring for the role. I was given an estimate of two-days to hear back. Unfortunately, I never did hear back. I never found out where I stood with the LPA role or Coordinator role. I was really excited about working at Mayer Brown and the interview process for both roles was genuinely one of the quickest turn arounds in terms of moving through the interviewing stages. It is just unfortunate I got to what felt like the last stage and never heard back or received an update even after following up.
