I was contacted on LinkedIn about a Communications & Marketing Specialist role and had a positive phone conversation with the People & Talent Managing Director, followed by a writing assignment. A few days later, I interviewed with the CEO on short notice and had a good experience despite it being scheduled very last minute. After my two interviews, I sent a follow-up email within the week to thank both individuals for their time but did not receive a response. A week later, I sent another follow-up email, but unfortunately, I still have not received a response. While I understand that people are busy, a lack of response after a candidate takes the time to engage in the interview process is disheartening. Today's job market is already challenging, and experiences like this make it even more so.
