I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Material Depot in Sep 2025

Interview

I had two rounds of interview. First round with the hiring manager and the second one with founder. It was only a fifteen minutes interview in both the rounds. In the first round it was more about the technical knowledge and the second round was like a culture fit.

It was easy and there was a focus on culture fit and attitude towards work as opposed to deep technical knowledge. They were focused on candidates having the ability/drive to solve a given problem as opposed to just having experience.

I was interviewed by a kid and was asked to submit a design assignment. Upon submitting the assignment on time, there was absolutely no response from either the kid or the founder I contacted via LinkedIn. Such a shame.
