If your engineering basics are good, you can crack it very easily.
They generally ask about relocating and stuff in HR and some engineering concepts in technical like IC engine, Mechanics, Materials etc.
It involves 2 steps for R&D vertical: first is online assessment. It involves topics like reasoning and quantitative aptitude as well as technical questions based on your branch. If anyone gets selected then proceeds to interview
Second is interview. Interview involves multiple interviewers from sales, engineering,HR etc. questions are mostly based on your resume
