Very smooth. Relatively fast replies. Really nice interviewers, asked personality questions and some technical. Video Interviewers seemed distracted, which made me feel like they had too much on their plate.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Marks Paneth (Norwalk, CT) in May 2022
Interview
I felt confident during the interview process. Although I informed the recruiter I wanted to be interviewed for the Audit Associate role and one of the interviewees was in Tax. So, he wasn’t aware and as a result not prepared. However, both interviewees were kind, friendly and informative. I was told I would hear back within two weeks and never heard back after several follow up emails. After my last follow up email, which was already over a month, I finally get a response from a general email that I wasn’t considered for the role. This review is to emphasize my disappointment for not hearing back despite following up many times. And I sense they finally got back to me (not directly from the recruiter) as a way not to follow up again (though I wasn’t intended to). Being ghosted after spending the time to get ready for an interview and go through the process is not only wasted but also disrespectful. It is unfortunate to write this negative review because I truly appreciate how friendly and kind the interviewees were. However, I hope the firm views this review so they can make their interview process better and not waste people’s time. Time is precious.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Marks Paneth
Interview
Great questions, seemed to value my time. Easy to talk to, not too intimidating. Took about an hour or so. Don't be surprised to talk to more than one person.
