Very smooth process and easy to apply. Was done through uni. They accepted my application wuite instantly and got back to me wothin 2 days and joined a week later
I applied for the position of Machine Learning Engineer at Robotic Marketer on SEEK.
I learned later that Robotic Marketer turns out to be a new name (or a subsidiary) of an existing company Marketing Eye. Reading through the Glassdoor reviews on Marketing Eye will probably give you an idea that why the company rebranded itself.
I was contacted by the CTO via email, asking for a face-to-face interview straightaway. No initial phone chat. Ok, a bit strange but I obliged.
One hour face-to-face interview onsite.
A week later, I received a generic rejection email from the CTO.
To me, this is very unprofessional.
The standard practice is that if you have had face-to-face interview, at least call the candidate.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Interview questions are fine.
But the unprofessionalism left a strong impression on me.
I applied through Indeed. Started with a phone interview. Then, had 1 face to face interview. I was asked to come in a second time to do a trial run of what I would be doing. Which was filling in marketing information for companies to run through their "marketing automation software" the CEO (Melissah Smith) has created. It took me 3 1/2 hours to complete. This was 6 weeks ago. I never received an offer or a follow up email stating they went with another candidate. Literally NOTHING after I spent time and effort on my part to interview. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. Strange to say the least. SUPER glad I did not get offered a position!!
