I applied through university. I interviewed at Marathon Petroleum (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2019
Interview
I got the interview by talking to some working process engineering alumni at a career fair. It was an hour long behavioral interview with STAR questions and questions about my past technical experiences, done at my college campus.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you achieved something difficult.
I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Marathon Petroleum
Interview
Interview began with elaboration on student background, long-term education plans, and location preference. Focus of interview shifted to academic courses taken and research projects conducted. Interview concluded with possible offers available and contact information exchange between both parties.
Asked all behavioral questions by two interviewers who worked in the same field as I do. They were very kind and open to answering any questions I had. They interviewed a lot of applicants at my school so there was not a high percentage of acceptances.
