Ok. Haven’t actually heard from them before but it is okay to try to have interview with the organization. It helps you to understand what are the general expectations in the education industry.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Maple Leaf International School (Los Angeles, CA) in Jun 2017
Interview
They collected my materials prior to the interview so a lot of the minor details were already known. They kept it about my thinking and teaching skills. BUT when I asked my questions all of the answers and promises they gave were false. Even the job turned out to be false- as I stated in the interview that I wasn't interested in teaching elementary but when I got to the school (4 months later) they told me I would be teaching EVERY student in the school EVERY DAY. From preschool to 9th grade.
