I applied online. I interviewed at Manhattan Beach Post
Interview
Came in for an interview, they already had my resume but still had me fill out an application. I find this a bit odd since all my information was stated on my initial application. First off, the manager that contacted me kept saying they would schedule an interview by the end of the day - this continued for about 5/6 days and then they emailed me the day of to come in for an interview. The interviewer was incredibly stand offish, gave me feedback on any of the interview answers. It was super awkward. I have extensive management and server experience, I often interview very well. They said they would contact with a yes or no answer within 24 hours, and as I noticed in a review prior to this - they did not give an answer. Similar to my situation. I understand NOT contacting if the decision is negative, however do not tell that you will contact if you do not. The whole process was extremely unprofessional, and coming from my managerial background...YIKES.

Interview
The general manager calls and basically explains that it will be a group interview lasting about an hour and a half. The group interview was fun and engaging. We were told that we would get a response either way within 48 hours. I was looking forward to hearing about even if I didn't get the job. It was so disappointing that they didn't follow through with this promise after they had taken an hour and a half of our time for principal's sake. It show that this is a company I would not want to work for,
