Interview
I applied through a dedicated university portal and got called back for a first introductory interview. It was a very nice call, with the Business Development manager. She asked me few questions about my background, passions in life, goals for the future. Afterwards, I asked her a few questions about the company. She was very kind and available.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Maison Marques and Domaines USA (Oakland, CA) in Dec 2021
Interview
The interview process with MMD USA was very mis-leading. After completing the final interview round, I felt very confident about receiving a job offer. I emailed HR twice the week after the interview for a follow up but no response. It wasn't until a full two weeks after my interview that I emailed HR with the CFO CC'd that I heard back about the job. I quickly got a response from HR that they were moving forward with another applicant. The email I received did not need to take two weeks to compose. The worst part was when I asked for feedback as to what I could improve on for the future, I was given no response. I feel like they had no respect for my time as a final applicant and I wouldn't have received a response from them if I hadn't reached out myself.
