I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Magna Technology Group in Jan 2025
Interview
Applied through Linkedin and had an internal recruiter reach out to set up a virtual screening for 15 minutes. Half way through the call the recruiter said he was impressed and wanted to move me to the next round to do a virtual interview with a sales director the following day. I show up for the interview and no one joined the call. I emailed the recruiter and sent a follow up, but no response. At least have the decency to reach out and let me know what happened rather than waste my time. The recruiter also mentioned to ignore his reviews that might be posted out there which came off as very unprofessional.

Interview
First round, I talked with a director; he asked surface level questions and I felt he genuinely wasn't engaged at all. After 10 min he sent me an email to schedule second round, which went much differently. I believe he was a senior analyst (don't remember for sure), but he looked and talked super casually, got more in-depth, and implicated to me halfway through that he didn't think I was the right fit.

Interview
They reached out to me on LinkedIn for an initial phone call. They joined the call on time, but made me wait a few minutes while they were finishing something up. Most of the time was spent with them talking highly of themselves and the company, not giving me much info about the job, I never got a description, and they ended the call by making up lies about the company I currently work for (pretending we have bonus issues and org restructuring) to make Magna sound better. Very slimy and I would never work here. I was offered another interview, but I turned it down.
