I applied online. I interviewed at Mader Group (Fort Collins, CO) in Feb 2021
Interview
Multiple interviews with different people at various levels. These are conducted in person and online. Some questions were sent to me before hand to prepare. Brought some work in to show my skillset

Question 1
Can you walk us through a recent marketing campaign you worked on? What were the objectives, key strategies, and results?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Mader Group in Sep 2022
Interview
My resume was found on seek and the recruiter called me to see if I was interested in an interview. I accepted and an interview was set up.
I attended the interview. Was standard kind of hse questions. A few pedestrian ones like “would you ask for a jha every time you walked past someone” but otherwise pretty standard.
I was not interviewed by the person I would report to which I thought was strange.
One of the interviews was good and personable. The other seemed like it was his first job interview he had conducted.
Interview concludes and we have a little small talk then I leave.
22 days pass from interview date and I receive a phone call (I had obviously given up on this role but had also determined it was not for me. Hours were long and pay was low/average (considering hours worked - 130k for 47.5hrs)
The recruiter informs me that the company has decided to go in a different direction and won’t be proceeding with my application at this time. I accepted this and queried what direction the company was taking. The reply “oh we have chosen someone else for the hse role”
Why not just say “you were not selected for the role and we have offered the position to someone else”?

Question 1
Would you ask someone for a jha everytime you walked into the workshop
I applied online. I interviewed at Mader Group (Perth, Western Australia) in Oct 2021
Interview
Had a pretty intense but informative and conversational phone interview for 15 minutes, really good introduction to the role, the company and the expectations placed upon me.
Followed up with a face to face interview which when much the same, the interviewer was really engaging and talkative which really made me feel comfortable and not at all for in mouthy like I normally am in interviews!
