I got my interview for this role via a recruiter. The main negative thing I would say about this process was that it was very lengthy and there was quite a wait between stages, 2 weeks where I did not hear anything.
The first stage was meeting the hiring manager on Teams for an initial conversation. This was good, he was very laid back, friendly and good at putting you at ease. We discussed the role, he asked some questions about why I was interested and my background. As well as this, gave me loads of information about the role.
I was invited to a second stage which involved a presentation on how you would manage a project. Again this went well, it was fairly smooth, I was given 20 minutes and then was asked a few questions. We chatted about the role again.
The third stage planned is to meet the directors. I did not progress to this due to the hybrid working arrangements, I believe this role is minimum 3 days in the office. The culture was that they did not force anyone in the office and have let people do what works for them which is great, but it sounded like they were moving away from this and moving to fixed days and no compromise - appealing or offputting depending on your outlook with hybrid working!
Overall a good experience, the role and the company sounded good.
