I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at MSCO
Interview
Completely Unprofessional. Waited for almost 2 hours and when I went in, no one knew why I was there. No one looked at my resume or portfolio. Not a word about what the company was like or what the company values were.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at MSCO in Sep 2015
Interview
Going into the interview, they knew I was limited on time due to the fact that I was still employed at another company. I had to sit and wait for 10 minutes because the person who was supposed to be interviewing me was still in the previous interview. Strike number 1. I first interviewed with someone in the company who held a high position in the very small company. He looked me in the eyes maybe three times during the whole ten minutes I spent in the office. He instantly came off as someone I would not enjoy working with. Strike number 2. After meeting with him, I was walked into the conference room where I had to wait ANOTHER ten minutes for someone higher up in the company to come in. He did not apologize for the wait..strike number 3. He did not seem like he knew what questions to ask and came off very awkward and sheepish. He also asked me what my parents do for a living, which is not relevant at all to my interview and skills. Before I left, they explained that I would be given an "assignment" so they could access my skills before moving forward. I had already checked out well before that nice tidbit, but that really sent me over the edge. They also have a huge office, with a ton of empty offices, which makes me very wary at how well the company is doing. One of them also mentioned that people who previously held this position couldn't do the job well, which scared me for job security if I did take this position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What do your parent's do for a living? This was the only question that stuck out to me because of how ludicrous it was.
